Mia is a one year old female. She came into the rescue with her kittens. When they first arrived they were very hissy and spitty. As soon as the kittens were big enough they were moved to another fosterer that specialises in socialising kittens. This turned out to be the turning point for Mia as once her kittens were gone she stopped hissing and used to just sit and watch what we were doing. We talked to her whilst cleaning her pen and sat with her and 2 months later she suddenly decided that she loved humans after all! She is now learning to play with her toys and would love a human to play with her. When she first meets someone she will hide but once she has got used to you she is a very loving young cat. She is looking for a home that is not too busy and can live with children over the age of 8. Once she has settled, she would like to be able to go outdoors too. She would like to be the only cat in the house.
