Hi, I’m Tiger, and I'm a little braver than my sister, Taco. We were living on a dump, which was scary with loud noises and movements of big vehicles. People used to shout at us too, so we didn’t like humans. Then this lady came with a trap and caught us using some lovely tuna. We were then taken to a building called a foster home.
We were not happy at first, and hissed and spat at any human that came near us. But our fosterer kept spending her days and sometimes nights sitting and talking to us. She started playing with toys and seemed to be very happy when we joined in. We liked her because she made sure we had lots to eat and played with us. When we stopped hissing, she let us investigate the rest of her house and we got to know her other cats. They seemed to like being stroked, and she would feed them treats. So we decided to be brave and do the same. I went first, and this stroking thing is ok, in fact, I found I liked it and when I started purring, my fosterer started smiling and calling me a good boy.
After that, Taco thought she would have a go. She took a treat from our fosterer’s hand. We like our fosterer – she has introduced us to kitty TV, and she ensures we are well looked after. She loves it when we sit on the sofa with her. If this is what it is like with some humans, then we are all in! We want a furrrrever home of our own now with lovely people like our fosterer. We do, however, want to go together.
We are 7 months old, microhipped, vaccinated and neutered, and our fosterer says we are now ready. We are looking for a quiet home with teenage children or no children. We would like to be the only animals in the house. We need patient humans that will give us time to settle. We want to stay indoors until Spring before we will feel brave enough to try going outdoors and we may decide we don't want to go outdoors now as it was very scary last time.
If you think you fit the bill and want to be interviewed by us. Put in an application and bring treats with you when you come to see us!
