Blackberry is a friendly 1-year-old rabbit. His life did not start well, but once he came to us, he was able to show what a remarkable boy he is. He has a lovely fun side and likes to run and play, and also loves a cuddle.

Bridie is a sweet 1-year-old who was found abandoned in a lay-by with her cage and pet carrier, and although open, she kept running back to her pet carrier for safety. Despite this, Bridie loves people and is always happy to come over for some affection and some tasty herbs. At first, all Bridie wanted to do was run and seemed relieved when she understood that she would no longer be caged. She likes to investigate everything, and as a house rabbit, she enjoys plenty of enrichment and attention to keep her mind occupied.

When Bridie was allowed to live alongside Blackberry, he was sure that she was ‘the one’ for him. This pair decided quite quickly to make their bond so that they are now not only playmates, but snuggle partners too.

Bridie and Blackberry are currently living in a garden room and have 4m x 2.5 m as their dedicated space for eating sleeping and playing. They particularly enjoy tunnels and boxes and of course nice big hay trays. As these rabbits love space to run we are looking for an indoor home with plenty of space. Free-roaming areas would need to be bunny proofed but the bigger, the better.

Their fosterer describes them as a friendly pair who love spending time with each other and also their foster family. They are both really playful and love a puzzle or a scavenger hunt for food. They are easily handled and petted, and Blackberry enjoys human cuddles with Bridie being equally affectionate and keen on human interaction.

Both rabbits would make the perfect addition to any home who can give them the love that they need. Both have experience with cats alongside their living area and are comfortable with this. Being active rabbits, we believe that Bridie and Blackberry would also enjoy some time in a garden run on nice days. Can you give this pair the home that they deserve?
