Two-year-old Lily is a lovely white rabbit with brown markings. She came into RSPCA care when her owner could no longer look after her. Lily hadn’t exercised much so was overweight, but has now been spayed and is looking for a neutered male rabbit to live with.

Lily is very curious and likes to explore objects in her run. She will often be seen in a sunny spot watching all the comings and goings in the garden. She gets very excited when she sees her fosterer coming, as usually this will mean a few tasty leaves as well as nose strokes. When her favourite foods approach she has the habit of doing an endearing little binky dance around your feet and its heartwarming to see her express her happiness in this way.

Lily takes a while to trust people, but has become quite fond of receiving affection and closes her eyes in quiet contentment. We are looking for a home for her with a friendly male rabbit that can offer her grooming and affection at all hours of the day and night. She is a very sweet rabbit and welcomes being handfed treats. Lily has never met a male rabbit but with patience and taking time to bond we believe this will make her world complete.

Lily needs a large hutch (or perhaps a converted shed) that is at least 1.8m x 0.6m x 0.6m and permanent access to a run that is 2m x 3m x at least 1m high. She can live with school age children.

If you have a lonely male rabbit, please get in touch and let’s see if we can make two rabbits happy.
