Sylvie is a beautiful 2-year-old silver-grey rabbit, who came into our care when her owner could no longer look after her. Sylvie was frightened at first, but with patience and kindness she has gradually started to trust people.

Albert is a delightfully curious dwarf lop rabbit who is very friendly. Albert was found as a stray and as we could not find his owner, it appears that he was unwanted. Albert loves people and enjoys strokes and affection.

Both rabbits were in need of a companion and when the day came that they were allowed to live side by side, they were over the moon. They got to know each other very quickly and so were allowed to live together where their personalities complement each other perfectly. Albert likes to do all the meetings and exploring, while Sylvie prefers to stay in the background and enjoy the comforts of their home. Both rabbits enjoy their snuggle time and it is a delight to see them in each other’s company. Albert and Sylvie are particularly fond of fresh veggies so are easy to keep happy if you bring tasty treats.

Sylvie and Albert need plenty of shelter so a large hutch and predator proof run 3m x 2m x at least 1m high is essential. If you are looking for a bonded pair of rabbit companions then this duo could be perfect for you.
