5-year-old Thumper came into RSPCA care through no fault of his own, when his owner had a change of circumstances. He is a very loving boy and wants attention and cuddles most of the day.

Thumper has always been an indoor bunny, and when he came to his foster home he could not stop binkying, as he didn’t have to live in a cage anymore. Thumper enjoys free roaming in all of the downstairs, but as he thrives on company, he chooses to spend his day close to his fosterer.

Thumper is exceptionally clean and tidy. He likes a routine and knows what he wants. He will let you know when it is time for food or cuddles and if you forget he will be sure to remind you with nudges! In bunny communication, he may occasionally give you a scrabble on your socks to make sure you are paying him the attention that he wants.

Due to his previous life, Thumper is only just learning to play and jump on things and explore. This gorgeous boy shows great potential to be a wonderfully affectionate house bunny. He would benefit from a home where he can be given time and patience. As this boy is so keen on having company, we believe that he would benefit from having a neutered female rabbit as his forever partner. Thumper has not been with another rabbit since he left his littermates over 5 years ago, so we would expect that introductions would have to be slow and allow Thumper time to build up his social skills with another rabbit.

He is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated and needs a caring owner who will give him lots of love and attention and let him meet and learn how to live and bond with another house bunny. If you can offer what Thumper needs, then we would love to hear from you.
