Meet Zara and Zoltan, bonded siblings looking for a home together.

Zara is quite the little princess, as she loves the comfort of a large hay tray to relax in and eat from at the same time! Zoltan is a sweet little guy, and together with Zara, they are an adorable pair, who love doing everything together.

Zara is the more confident and knows exactly what she wants which is hay, hay and more hay! Both rabbits need time to get to know you, but their fosterer finds that the reward of their trust is hugely fulfilling.

They came to us after their whole family was dumped on the edge of woods. Zara and Zoltan were found individually after surviving three nights hiding from predators. They were very nervous at first, but when we realised they were litter mates and needed to be together, they immediately started to feel safe. They are now growing in confidence and trusting enough to take a treat from their carer’s hand. They accept gentle strokes but like many rabbits, are not keen on being picked up.

Their adoptive home needs to be a large hutch at least 1.8m x 0.6m x 0.6m (or maybe a converted shed) with continuous access to a predator-proof run at least 3m x 2m x 1m high. This pair are especially fond of keeping their feet dry, so would welcome as much shelter from the weather as possible. We are happy to advise on rabbit housing.
