Animal rescue crisis - please help

We're facing an animal rescue crisis in Buckinghamshire.

In 2025 we rescued and rehomed just over 200 animals. So far this year we have already rescued 195 animals with still five months of the year to go.  We have never been so busy and unfortunately we have long lists of vulnerable animals waiting to come into our care. These are mostly cats who have been abandoned and are injured or pregnant and urgently need treatment and care, and vulnerable kittens who are too young to survive on their own. But we can't help them all at the moment, which is heart breaking, and we can't handle this crisis alone. We urgently need your help.

If you're thinking of getting a pet, please adopt, don't shop. Buying online simply encourages illegal breeding and often animals with health issues. When you adopt you know that your pet has been neutered, vaccinated, mircochipped and health checked, you have ongoing advice and support and don't end up with an animal that isn't what you were expecting.  Our animals for adoption are at https://www.rspca-southbucks.org.uk/adopt
