National Black Cat Day

Today is National Black Cat Day, a great time to celebrate these beautiful, sleek, mini panthers.

Igor was adopted from us in July. He is 5 years old and spent 25 weeks in our care before finding his forever home. It's a sad fact that black cats often take longer to rehome, but owning one is just the same as owning a cat of any other colour.

Igor has settled in very well. He was nervous at first, but is now very loving with his new owners, and often sits on their laps purring, gives them ‘smooches’, or cuddles up on the bed, talking in his sleep! He's also become braver with other people, and usually comes out when friends and family arrive to say hello.
