Please neuter your cats

Jemima is a lovely adult cat that will be neutered in a few days. She came to us with her three 6-month-old kittens AND her five 10-week-old kittens AND was pregnant again!

None of them were very well when they came to us, but they are now all fit and healthy. Jemima is very tired from having to look after such a lot of kittens whilst being pregnant again, but will never have to go through mating or motherhood again. This is what happens when owners do not neuter their animals, and then they get overwhelmed with cats and kittens, and the cost of trying to feed them all in a very short space of time.

Please neuter your cats as they become mature as young as 4 MONTHS! All the local rescues including ourselves are FULL with unwanted, sick, and stray cats and kittens and have very long waiting lists for more to come in.

If you need help financially with neutering, please contact our welfare team at welfare@rspca-southbucks.co.uk and we may be able to help you.

Let's look after the health and welfare of our animals.
