Can you help Merlin?

At RSPCA South Bucks, sometimes we take in cats that are in a very poorly state. This emaciated cat came in last week. We initially thought he was a very old gentleman, but it turns out he is very young. He had to be rushed straight to the vets and was admitted straight away as he was so dehydrated. This poor boy has been without food for a significant amount of time.

He was scanned to check that he didn't have any tumours or blockages, and fortunately he didn't. He had to stay in the vets and was put on a drip and after a couple of days then went to a fosterer where he is having to have very little meals but frequently as it is very important not to give an animal that has been food deprived too large a meal to start with as their stomachs have shrunk so much. It is early days, but he is fighting as much as we are for him.
