We love it when new owners get in touch and tell us how our animals are settling in.
Here is what Marley and Belle’s new owners have to say about them.
“Marley and Belle (who we also call Bella, as we liked the additional syllable, or Babybelle when she’s being extra cute!) love their new life here, and we love them! Marley was quite shy initially, but he came round quickly and now rolls over onto his back for fuss and has even greeted visitors on occasion too.
Bella was super confident right from the start, even in her carrier for the hour+ journey to her new home, but thankfully hasn’t gotten herself into too much kitten mischief. We were nervous about introducing them to each other but we had nothing to worry about, after slow introductions over a few weeks, they have become best friends.
Marley absolutely adores his new sister - we’re certain he believes that we adopted her just for him! He grooms her all the time, they chirp to each other to initiate play, eat together, sleep together and have even, on occasion, used one of the litter trays together!
They love watching the wildlife through the windows and chasing each other up the cat tree. They each let us know when they’ve decided it’s cuddle time, Bella loves to snuggle with a blanket and Marley loves padding with his big paws on a comfy lap.
They both love cuddles with us, are happy to be picked up, and sleep in bed with us every night - after a tiring day of chasing each other around the house playing! We are so happy to have them as part of our family, and I think the photos and videos show that they love being family too.
